How to find a vacation rental in Scottsdale
Seeking a place for my parents to stay over the winter in Scottsdale became a restraining task those days. I knew that my husband couldn't tolerate it if I let my parents stay with us, and also, they had a budget and all the additional costs like food and a rental car were really overwhelming. Me and my husband knew that we had to find a great place, with some entertainment selections and likeminded individuals for us to become friends with.
It seems like when you search Scottsdale Vacation rentals there are hundreds upon hundreds of alternatives, you have your hotels in Scottsdale, Scottsdale extended stay, Scottsdale corporate housing, and then, Scottsdale Winter rentals. I found that all these alternatives are pretty much the same, short term, month to month furnished rentals in Scottsdale. And, it went down to the low point, what my husband could give away and what neighbourhood and surroundings they desired to treat themselves to while they escaped the cold winters in Connecticut.
Our family toured a bunch of destinations, including Scottsdale Hotels, Scottsdale Winter Rentals, and Scottsdale Vacation Rentals, before my parents arrived in early January. Most of the spots were missing some of the "must haves" my parents demanded, like a friendly front desk and a location nearby grocery store. Then, one day we were driving South on Miller Rd to our mechanic and came upon Scottsdale Park Suites. My husband drew in and what a welcome site it was! Smiling staffs, awesome furnished one bedroom apartments are available for winter rentals. Perfect! Plus, the biggest treats were all these Freebies that came with the rental for my parents.
Scottsdale Park Suites gave coupons to us for restaurants everyday, which helped a lot with the food costs. And even better, the free trolley runs on Miller Rd, because Scottsdale Park Suites is nearby the trolley station, and my family didn't even have to rent a car (big savings here too). A market, Denny's, ranch market and local bar were all within small distance. Our family made plenty of new friends, and were able to get rides from other guests to local events in Scottsdale. It was a great feel for my parents, who will be returning again every Winter, I hope! To my husband: "Sorry hunny, we still have to host our twice weekly family dinners, because my parents are in town for three whole months!"
